Where are they now? Meet some of our Graduates!

GLP Graduates, now at Namasale SEED Secondary School: (left to right) Sharon, Chris, Mariam, Ibrahim & Boniface!

At Global Leaders Primary School (GLP), we take pride in our students' achievements and their journeys toward bright futures. Here are the inspiring stories of some of our graduates who are now studying at Namasale Seed Secondary School, a sister school to Far Away Friends.

Meet Sharon

Name: Atim Sharon
Current School: Namasale Seed Secondary School
Grade: Senior Three
Graduated from GLP: 2021
Dream: To become a secondary school teacher

"My dream was to study at GLP, and it came true. My parents, who are peasant farmers, even helped build the school. GLP was the best school in our area. Now, at my current school, we lack science labs and equipment, which makes learning difficult. I want to become a teacher to help children in my community achieve their dreams."

Meet Maliam

Name: Okori Maliam
Current School: Namasale Seed Secondary School
Grade: Senior Two
Graduated from GLP: 2022
Dream: To become a lawyer

"I love and miss my former school because of the Music, Dance, and Drama programs. We even toured other parts of Uganda like Lira. My mom, who sells porridge, and my retired father, have always supported me. I want to become a lawyer to help my family and others."

Meet Boniface

Name: Amai Boniface
Current School: Namasale Seed Secondary School
Grade: Senior Four
Graduated from GLP: 2019
Dream: To become a police officer

"Graduating from GLP was a highlight, but the pandemic delayed my progress. My father, a local council leader, helps ensure the security of GLP.  My father is one of the people that supply construction water at GLP and I’m so proud. I want to become a police officer in my future to maintain law and order."

Meet Ibrahim

Name: Quizifa Ibrahim
Current School: Namasale Seed Secondary School
Grade: Senior Three
Graduated from GLP: 2021
Dream: To become a mechanic

"The facilities at GLP were very comfortable compared to my current school. Despite this, I am determined to become a mechanic and one day buy very cool cars. My parents are business people, and I help my mom with her small hotel during holidays."

Meet Chris

Name: Pule Chris
Current School: Namasale Seed Secondary School
Grade: Senior Two
Graduated from GLP: 2022
Dream: To become a Physics teacher

"Global Leaders enabled me to reach where I am today. My parents, who are farmers, have always supported my education. I aim to become a Physics teacher to educate others."
