November Theme: Fundraising
November Theme: "Harvesting Hope through Fundraising"
Greetings, Far Away Friends Club members!
As we transition into November, let's continue our mission of supporting global education equity with a new theme: "Harvesting Hope through Fundraising." This month, we will explore the power of fundraising as a means to bring hope and resources to students in rural Uganda.
November 7: Election Day
November 20: World Children’s Day
Discussion Questions:
What does fundraising mean to you, and how can it impact the lives of students in Uganda?
Reflect on the fundraising efforts Far Away Friends has undertaken so far. What successes have we achieved, and what challenges have we faced?
How can fundraising efforts benefit the Sister School and the broader community in Uganda? Discuss specific projects or initiatives that could make a positive impact.
In what creative ways can we engage our local community and school in fundraising activities to support global education equity? Brainstorm ideas to spark enthusiasm and participation.
What are the essential elements of a successful fundraising campaign, and how can we ensure our efforts are effective and meaningful?
Just as the harvest season yields the fruits of hard work, our fundraising initiatives have the potential to bring hope and opportunity to students in need. Let's use our collective energy and creativity to sow the seeds of positive change and cultivate a brighter future. Host a FAFS-GIVING! A few FAF clubs meet at the end of the semester for a potluck style gathering to celebrate their accomplishments for the year. Everyone brings some food and plays some games to get to know the club a little better!
