Transforming Lives: The Impact of Global Leaders Primary School on Our Graduates

At Global Leaders Primary School, our flagship program here at Far Away Friends, our mission is to provide a world-class education that empowers young minds to achieve their fullest potential — no matter how rural the village. Today, we're thrilled to share inspiring testimonials from some of our graduates who are now thriving in high school, thanks to the strong foundation they received at GLP, supported by a global network of our Advocates for Education!

Ajok Tamale: From GLP to Top of Her Class

"I graduated from Global Leaders in 2022 and am now in senior two at St. Mary’s Girls School Aboke. The education and support I received at GLP were instrumental in my success. My good grades helped me secure a spot at St. Mary’s, and I am currently among the top ten in my class. As the firstborn in my family, I strive to make my family proud. My aunt, the Director of GLP, always emphasized that education is the key to helping my siblings. I love GLP for its quality teachers, conducive learning environment, and excellent facilities." – Ajok Tamale

Kamanyire Adam: A Doctor in the Making

"Graduating from Global Leaders Primary School in 2021 and now in senior three at Nakasongola Army School, I owe my discipline and determination to GLP. Despite challenges like school fees, I remain focused on my dream of becoming a doctor. GLP's nurturing environment prepared me well for my journey ahead."

– Kamanyire Adam

Ekwang Jonathan: Engineering His Future

"I was part of one of GLP’s first classes when it opened and I graduated from GLP in 2022. I’m now in senior two at Nakasongola Army School. Coming from a humble background in Namasale Trading Center, GLP provided me with quality education, good meals, and opportunities to play football. These experiences have kept me focused on my dream of becoming an engineer. My parents, despite their modest means, have always supported my goals." – Ekwang Jonathan

Odongo Allan: Future Accountant

"Since graduating from Global Leaders Primary School in 2021 and moving on to Nakasongola Army Secondary School, I have been working hard towards my dream of becoming an accountant. GLP was one of the best schools I attended, and I am grateful for their ongoing support. My parents, who are [subsistence] farmers, are proud of my achievements." – Odongo Allan

Ocen Gabriel: Building Dreams as a Civil Engineer

"I was also part of GLP’s first class! After graduating from GLP in 2022, I joined Nakasongola Army School. Coming from Bangala, Namasale Sub-county, I dream of becoming a civil engineer. My parents are small-scale farmers, but their support, along with the strong foundation from GLP, keeps me motivated to achieve my goals." – Ocen Gabriel
