How the Skills for Life Program is Empowering Students and Teachers at Namasale SEED Secondary School
Since it’s launch last year, Far Away Friends' Skills for Life program is making a big impact at Namasale SEED Secondary School in Uganda. As a member of the Schools for Schools Network, Namasale SEED is one of the schools benefiting from the program that is helping to transform education in rural Uganda.
The Skills for Life program is designed to empower students with practical life skills that go beyond traditional academics. From financial literacy to leadership training, the program is helping to prepare students for success in all aspects of life.
But the impact of the program extends beyond just the students. Teachers at Namasale SEED have also benefited from the program's professional development opportunities. Through workshops and training sessions, teachers have gained new skills and techniques for engaging their students and creating a positive learning environment.
The video showcases the inspiring stories of students and teachers at Namasale SEED who have been impacted by the Skills for Life program. One student shares how the program has helped him to become more confident and independent, while teacher Lillian shares about the positive changes she has seen in her students since implementing the program in her classroom.
With your help, Far Away Friends can continue to expand the Skills for Life program to more schools in rural Uganda, providing even more students and teachers with the tools they need to succeed.
Your support can make a difference in the lives of these students and teachers. Together, we can help bridge the gap in education and empower the next generation of leaders in Uganda.
