About Our Sister School
Agikdak Secondary School is one of the only high schools in the rural district of Amolatar in northern Uganda.
Agikdak does not have any doors or windows, and all classrooms have dirt floors
Students share text books and school supplies and often do not have enough desks
We believe that all students deserve a great classroom experience — no matter where they are from
The students of Dakota Ridge are partnering with Far Away Friends this year to raise $1,000 to support the needs of our Sister School in Uganda.
About Our Club
Our Club meets every Tuesday after school in Mr. Purcell’s Room
Together, we learn about how to be better global citizens, we write letters to our Sister School students, and plan fundraisers and school-wide events that help make an impact such as:
Indoor Snowball Fights
Da Bomb Wing Challenge
Dunktanks & Parade floats
