Join us in supporting our goal to help fight hunger faced by children worldwide. Participate virtually or in person, between August 5th - 26th Denver Kick-Off Event will be Aug 5th! Set a fundraising goal and receive a social media kit to amplify your efforts. Prizes for fastest times, top fundraisers, and team recruitment. The walk concludes with a celebration at a local brewery, with a stop at Little Man Ice Cream to drop off food donations.
About the 5k:
This year, not only are we collecting funds to support our lunch program in Uganda, we’re collecting canned food items to support our local food banks! Help alleviate food insecurity in Denver by bringing canned goods to your local food bank during your 5k, and join us by making a direct impact on local families in need.
Supporting local food banks:
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fuel our lunch program which feeds 500 students in rural Uganda. Set your own goal and get creative with fundraising! You can accept dares for donations, create prop bets tied to your run/walk, or collect donations for each can of food carried. Let your imagination run wild and engage your community in supporting our cause.

Visit our information booths at any Little Man Ice Cream Location on August 5th to learn about food insecurity in Uganda, Far Away Friends' work, and ways to support the cause. Explore Little Man Ice Cream's philanthropy and the impact of their work to end hunger and 20% of your ice cream purchase will go directly to Far Away Friends!
